My name is Yukari. I’m 19 years old. I was born in Kumamoto. There are four people in my family. My parent’s names are Masanori and Yumi, and my brother’s name is Kazuki. My father is a banker, and he doesn’t live in my house because his job. He lives in Ashikita now. He comes buck to my house every weekend. My brother lives in Kyoto and has been there for five years. He is a student at Kyoto University. He is very smart and funny. I respect him. My mother and I live in Kumamoto now. My mother is good at cooking. I have good time with her.
I’ll introduce my hometown, Jyozan. Jyozan, is a beautiful and quiet place. Jyozan is a beautiful city that is surrounded by fields and mountains. Jyozan is covered with rich greenery. In the evening, the western skies are aglow with the setting sun. At night, I can watch a lot of stars in the sky. Jyozan is in the country, so it is very quiet. I can listen to the sounds of bells ringing in the fall. I can relax to there. I love my city and the people.
I have a lot of hobbies. Traveling is one of my hobbies. Last summer, I went to Kagoshima with my friend. I had a good time at there. I made a plan to go to Kyoto in this year. Kyoto is a symbol place of Japanese culture. There are a lot of sightseeing places. I want to go Korean someday too. I want to travel not only all over Japan but also all over the world. My other hobbies are cooking and eating. I like cooking as well as eating. My favorite fruits are watermelon and blueberry. I can eat them a lot because I love. I like blueberry bagel. I often buy it at bakery in my university. And, I like sweets. I often eat cakes and gummi. In specially, I like the cakes which is gateau chocolate and HARIBO gummi which is hard. My favorite animals are dogs and cats. My favorite restaurants are Mugiya and Asopalav. I take instruction of cooking from my mother. I want to be a person who can cook various dishes. For example, Italian, Western, Chinese and Japanese. If I have an opportunity to make dishes for you, I’ll make the local cuisines of Kumamoto. I like to eat and I am not fussy about food at all. I want to try many dishes of the foreign countries.
I have a dream to be a teacher. I want to teach English for children and tell them that English is very interesting. I want to teach them from my experience, so I have to have wide experience. I will learn a lot of things and enjoy studying English.

Golden week plans

On golden week, I have a lot of things to do. First of all, I have a part-time job everyday. It is hard for me. But I want to earn money so I will work hard. Second, I have a plan to go to Aso by my driving. I want to take a hot spring bath there. I'm looking forward to go there. Third, I will study for TOEIC and TOEFL. I want to do well on these tests and I want to study abroad. In addition to this, I have plans to go shopping and go restaurant for dinner with my friends.

I read "The Peach Boy". The story was known by almost people. Of course I had known the story. One morning, she saw something floating on the water. It was the biggest peach that she had ever seen. She take out it to home. She and her husband started to cut it open. Then, the peach spilit in two and there was a little boy! When he grew up, he decided to go Ogre Island and he chastised ogres. He became a hero.

　　　I read “The Elves and the Shoemaker” this week. The story was interesting. There are elderly couple and elves. Business is booming for the shoemaker and his wife, until a rival seller steals their customers. With only one piece of leather left, the future looks glum. But then, two elves come the house and on there own secret mission. The next day, shoemaker found out shoes that were very good and stylish. The shoes shop became popular.

Music I like

I like listening to music. My favorite artists are "Ikimonogakari" and " Yuzu". There are three people in "Ikimonogakari". The singer is a cute girl and her voice is very good. I like her voice and her song. My spirits can be picked up when I listen to their songs. These days, I'm interested in listening to foreign music. If I listen to the song, I can acquire skill in listening. So, I want to listen to foreign music and I want to be a person who can listen to English well.

One day, she saw a strange frog. He can speak. She made promise to the frog, but she broke the promise. Poppy doesn’t like the frog and he received cruel treatment from her. After a few days, suddenly, the frog became a handsome prince and he proposed to her. After that she got married to him.
　　　 I cannot understand why the he promised to her. She is ill natured. I don’t want to let children hear about this story.

Last weekend

Last weekend, I took part in a freshman camp as a staff. The first day, I made curry with other staffs for dinner. There were many foodstuffs. We had to cut them for long time.
